POLITICAL CAREER
Rebecca Madsen has been interested in politics her whole life. She has been involved in many political campaigns ranging from being a volunteer in local government races including school board candidates, running State level campaigns for the Senate, fundraising at the State and National levels all the way to helping run State offices for US Presidential candidates, including travel across the country and organizing events in various States to support Presidential candidates with fundraising, canvassing, organizing volunteers, speaking publicly and representing these campaigns on local, State and national levels. She has rubbed elbows with TV and radio personalities, global celebrities and everyday citizens all across the country. She is talented in organization, clarifying difficult to understand information and condensing it to easily understood topics, leadership both of her staff and her peers, fundraising, event planning and, perhaps most importantly, critical analysis of the benefits and drawbacks of differing political viewpoints and finding common ground to ensure support for bills in the SC House and Senate. Her counsel has been instrumental in supporting the original intent of bills presented in the House which have resulted in stronger, better laws being passed here in South Carolina.
Rebecca is excited to shift her talents from organization, planning and support to getting into the real work of changing policy to support and help sustain her constituents in the South Carolina House of Representatives!
